The story is a Comedy
Once upon a time, there was a funeral home that was struggling to make ends meet. The owner, Mr. Smith, had a brilliant idea to increase profits. He started offering "happy funerals" for a premium price.
The concept was simple: instead of the traditional somber atmosphere, the funerals would be filled with laughter and joy.
The first happy funeral was a huge success. The deceased's family laughed and smiled as they said their final goodbyes.
Word spread quickly and soon Mr. Smith's funeral home became the go-to place for happy funerals.
Business was booming and Mr. Smith couldn't be happier. But one day, a young man came into the funeral home, requesting a happy funeral for his grandmother.
Mr. Smith, eager to please his customer, agreed and threw the best happy funeral yet.
As the celebration came to an end, the young man approached Mr. Smith with a proposition: "I have a feeling my Grandmother's death won't be the last in the family. Can I pre-pay for a bulk package of happy funerals?"
Mr. Smith, seeing the potential for even more profits, eagerly agreed.
And sure enough, over the next few months, the young man's entire family passed away, one by one, each with a joyful, happy funeral.
Mr. Smith was raking in the cash, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
One day, the police showed up at the funeral home, investigating the suspicious deaths of the young man's family.
It turned out that the young man had poisoned his entire family to cash in on the bulk package of happy funerals.
Mr. Smith was horrified, but couldn't deny the fact that his business had never been better.
As the trial began, Mr. Smith was torn between turning the young man in and risking the downfall of his successful business.
In the end, he made the moral decision and testified against the young man.
But as he sat in the courtroom, watching the trial unfold, he couldn't help but think: "Maybe I should have just stuck to traditional funerals."
